Here's an acquisition of July 20, 2012! This is a 1975 Pontiac Grand Ville convertible in its first-year color of Arctic Blue (4519 produced), the last year for the convertible in the full-size GM line-up and the only non-Cadillac model made in its highest trim level as a convertible as both Olds and Buick convertibles were made on the Delta 88 and LeSabre trim lines. The Grand Ville first appeared in 1971 as the top of the line with Bonneville replacing the Star Chief. This was also the last year for the Grand Ville as Bonneville once again became Head Chief in '76. In '71-'74, the 455 engine was standard equipment, but was replaced by the 400 in '75 as emission and gas mileage regulations took their toll. The 455 could be ordered as an option, though, and this car, with 62K miles, is equipped with it, as well as air-conditioning.
